Synopsis: for the next weekend, atmosphere is showing the same pattern, in general, than the last weeks. In this way, the Azores High is a bit displaced to the west from its original location over the Azores Islands. Moreover, there is another blocked high in and close to Greenland. Between them, there is a path that is being used by low pressure systems to move across the Atlantic Ocean to Europe. This synoptical configuration takes responsibility for the west-southwestern winds events that are taking place frequently this summer, as Atlantic troughs (some deeper, some shallower), can move close or over the Iberian Peninsula. Then, more west-southwestern winds are forecasted for the next weekend in our region:
Tomorrow: few clouds or no clouds in the sky, being a very sunny day. Wind will blow from the N, weakly, early in the morning, especially along the main valleys and the coastal-line. It will turn to the west-southwest since the early afternoon, blowing with some moderate gusts.
